Access Information Management Announces Acquisition of Southern California Records Management Firm
Pleasanton CA - September 04, 2009 - Access Information Management has announced the acquisition of York Business Records Storage, based in Oxnard, California. This is the sixth acquisition made by Access in the Southern California region and Access’ 21st acquisition nationwide.
York has provided offsite records storage and management services to Southern California clients for the past 32 years. Previous owner Mike York has joined the Access Account Management team, with an initial focus on managing the transition and introducing York clients to the Access team and Access’ additional Records and Information Management services.
As part of the acquisition, Access will open an additional state of the art record center in Ventura County. York clients will now be serviced with state-of-the-art inventory tracking technology and have an opportunity to utilize new RIM services from Access, including secure destruction services, data protection services (electronic media, backup tapes and vital records), and Digital Access Solutions, comprised of document scanning, scan-on-demand, and web-hosted digital storage.
