Access Founder and CEO elected to lead PRISM International Board of Directors
April 28, 2009 - Dennis E. Barnedt III, founder and CEO of Access Information Management, has been elected to serve as the 2009 President of the Board of Directors for PRISM International (Professional Records & Information Services Management).
PRISM International is the not-for-profit trade association for the commercial information management industry. This industry is made up of outsourcing partners that provide their clients with physical and digital information protection, access, retention, storage and disposal. PRISM International maintains two offices. Headquarters of the organization is located in Raleigh, North Carolina and a European Secretariat is located in Brussels, Belgium.
Dennis is working closely with PRISM staff and fellow board members to address evolving standards and regulatory issues that impact both commercial information management companies and clients.
“As regulatory and legislative changes continue to impact the commercial information management industry, now is a critical time for our members to address these changes to serve their clients. We have a great opportunity to do so, and I look forward to helping guide PRISM’s efforts world-wide,” stated Dennis Barnedt.
Mr. Barnedt has been a member of the PRISM Board since January 2007 and has been involved in the industry and PRISM since 1995.
