Access Information Management announces the appointment of Rob Alston and John Chendo to key executive roles
April 07, 2009 - Access has promoted Rob Alston, formerly Executive Vice President, to the new role of President, Operations & Business Development. Alston will oversee company-wide operations and business development, while continuing to be part of the Access acquisition team. Alston has over ten years of experience in records and information management and was previously a founding partner and the Director of Operations for FileMinders of Hawaii, LLC, which was acquired by Access in 2004.
John Chendo has joined Access in the new role of President, Finance & Strategy. Chendo will be responsible for all financial operations and will lead the company’s acquisition strategy. Chendo previously served as Principal at Housatonic Partners, where he successfully managed investments in growing services businesses including Access. Chendo has served on the Board of Directors of Access since sponsoring the company’s founding in 2004. Chendo brings over twelve years of financial management and acquisitions experience, including management roles in software and services industries, private equity investing, and investment banking with Morgan Stanley.
